Preparing for RES Exam?


Here is a summary of the current RES examination syllabus (subjected to revision by CEA).


The Real Estate Salesperson course curriculum and materials developed by CEA Approved Course Providers must adhere to the examination syllabus endorsed by CEA.


The RES Examination Syllabus is prepared in the context of local laws, rules, and regulations governing estate agency work and practices, and the buying/selling/leasing of HDB flats and private residential, commercial and industrial properties in Singapore.

The objectives of the RES Examination are to ensure that new entrants meet the necessary requirements before they practice as real estate salespersons. Once our certified and licensed, real estate salespersons are expected to: possess fundamental knowledge of real estate concepts; apply knowledge for estate agencies' work; apply good ethics, and adopt best practices.
