Here is a summary of the current RES examination syllabus (subjected to revision by CEA).


The Real Estate Salesperson course curriculum and materials developed by CEA Approved Course Providers must adhere to the examination syllabus endorsed by CEA.


The RES Examination Syllabus is prepared in the context of local laws, rules and regulations governing estate agency work and practices, and the buying/selling/leasing of HDB flats and private residential, commercial and industrial properties in Singapore.

Once are certified and licensed, real estate salespersons are expected to: possess fundamental knowledge of real estate concepts; to apply knowledge for estate agencies work; apply good ethics and adopt best practices.


By raising the entry requirement, professionalism of RES is raised in the industry!
